Research Interests | Cecilia Ricci is author of about 120 scientific publications, including monographs, reviews, essays in journals and proceedings of conferences held in Italy and abroad, miscellaneous studies and exhibitions catalogues etc.The main research lines concern Urban Troops in the first two centuries of the Empire and the relationship between the military and civilians; The ‘memory of Rome’ and the funeral rites of the Roman world; the presence of foreigners in the City in imperial times; epigraphic sources, Roman society and the territory of Italy: Latium vetus, and Sabina and Samnium.
Her work has been reviewed on national and international journals. Se has been called for papers on National and International Conferences and for introducing conferences and volumes. She has been invited to contribute to catalogues of exhibitions, to Miscellanies, for introducing or concluding conferences and volumes.
