Her main research interests include contemporary German and Austrian literature, especially in relation to the Romantic Period and to contemporary authors such as Herta Müller, Christoph Ransmayr, Barbara Frischmuth. She also deals with the practice of rewriting classical mythology in contemporary times, mainly from the particular point of view of the psychoanalytic literary criticism. She is currently leading a study on the relationship between literature and the evolution of the dynamic psychiatry in Europe with particular focus on German literature. |
