|For the past five years my research interest has been focused on the social and school integration of immigrants in Europe. In particular, through the examination of the vast national and international literature and of the large number of documents and existing laws on the subject, I tried to put light on the evolution of intercultural education in European school systems and the initiatives of the European Union to promote intercultural dialogue in schools and to create community policies of clear intercultural matrix. Currently, my research focuses on teacher training in intercultural skills and on school dropout of immigrant children in Europe.
