Master Degree in Literature and History of Art
The interclass Master’s Degree Programme (LM-14, LM-89) in Literature and History of Art offers two enrollment paths: Modern Philology and History of Art. It is structured in order to give students more options which will provide a diverse specialized preparation both in the literary and historical-artistic fields.
The study plan is divided into two curricula: a philological-literary one and an archaeological-artistic one. Some courses are common to both paths, while others are specific to one of the two curricula.Despite the fact that there are two different curricula, the Master’s Degree Programme has a strong unitary structure and is based on courses with a solid humanistic tradition, providing the student with the opportunity to focus both on the study of Italian language and literature and, at a more advanced level, on the study of the visual arts applied to different areas, from the ancient world to the contemporary age; including a special focus on issues related to the conservation and the management of the historical and artistic heritage.
